The location of the hotel is great! It is located within a 1-minute walk to South Kensington Tube Station. There is a 24-hour convenience store, coffee, cafes, bakeries, pubs, delis, restaurants, dry cleaners, taxi stand, luggage store, and bank all located within a few feet to 1 block of the hotel. The Drawing Room located inside the hotel is the most charming and relaxing place to enjoy tea service. The customer service I received was courteous and quick.

The Location was unbeatable! Just minutes from South Ken Station and lots of cafés and restaurants and the Museums! The Staff, especially Jerry The Doorman, were always smiling and super sweet. Rooms were really comfy and the complimentary mini bar was great too! A small touch like fresh milk and biscuits every day really meant a lot! The Double Glazed windows meant that even though we stayed on the ground floor, not a peep of the traffic came in (except maybe the odd Police siren). Overall it was a super enjoyable and comfortable experience staying at The Ampersand! Hope we get rooms when we come back in. June!!

The first room that we booked was very very small, too small for two adults to fit comfortably. The staff was very friendly and gave us an upgrade immediately, moving us to a larger room. The hotel is clean, in a wonderful location, quiet street at night, lovely sunlight in the room we stayed in. Nice, clean spacious bathroom in the larger room we ended up in. We love The Ampersand and have stayed many times, and look forward to staying again many times.

Just returned from my fourth stay at the Ampersand Hotel & as good as ever. The warm and welcoming staff are a true credit to the hotel & managing to check me in at 9:30am after an early morning flight was the cherry on the cake. The welcome back note and macaroons on return to my room later in the day was a thoughtful touch. I would not stay anywhere else on a trip to London. Thank you so much for another fabulous stay.

The location was amazing! So close to a central tube station and many bus stops. The room was roomy and clean and the bathrooms were great (heated floors!). Free mini bar that gets restocked was also a bonus!

It was so comfortable, clean, safe, and quite hotel. The staff were so friendly, and I would like to give a special thanks and gratitude to the receptionist Katerina, she was so exceptional, very cooperative, and very kind, also the rest of staff many thanks to them they were so nice and kind. I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting London to stay in it.

The location is fantastic, literally 200 metres from South Kensington tube station and close to many restaurants, cafes and bars. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, and the cleanliness and finish of the room was exemplary. The breakfast in the downstairs room was quite delightful, and good value, and the full-fried that we had in our room on the first morning was stunning, and on time !!!

Great location, very convenient. Well appointed and modern. I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the room (for London) - we didn't choose the smallest one and the one we got was more than adequate.

The hotel is part of the Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The location was perfect, really close to the South Kensington metro station (2 stops from. Victoria), near the best museums: Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Victoria and Albert (all free museums, first two require timeslot booking). Great food options really close: delicious tuna cheesy toasty at Olee & Steen; just across the street from the hotel there was a great libanese option and an indian one; just 2 minutes walk up to an esplanade with other restaurants and desert options with really good reviews (i.e. Honest Burgers, Leon, Brother Marcus, Comptoir Libanese, Tapas Brindisa). Baby friendly hotel: our 6 years old was really impressed by the tiny slippers and bath rope, the hot chocolate in the shape of a rocket and marshmallows that waited her on the free extra bed from the Deluxe Double Room, plus the little duck from the bathtub. All toiletries were L'Occitane, really nice. The heated bathroom floor and the option to listen to radio in the bathroom was a nice touch as well. Great experience overall.
